Human Albumin Biotest is licensed for restoration and maintenance of circulatory blood volume where volume deficiency has been demonstrated and use of a colloid is appropriate.
Human Albumin Biotest is administered intravenously. It is available in two different strengths:
- Human Albumin Biotest 20% (20 g human albumin in 100 ml)
- Human Albumin Biotest 5% (12.5 g human albumin in 250 ml)
3 years shelf-life. Do not store above 25°C. Do not freeze. Store in original container in order to protect from light.
